Sugar prices end on mixed note
Sugar prices ended mixed at the wholesale market in the national capital today in the absence of any significant buying or selling amid ample stocks.
Marketmen said some buying activity helped select mills prices to rise, while a few others edged lower.
Meanwhile, sugar ready and mill delivery prices remained unaltered on little doing.
In the mill gate section, sugar Budhana, Thanabhavan and Sakoti edged up by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,740, Rs 2,730 and Rs 2,710 per quintal.
However, sugar Asmoli, Dhanora and Simbholi eased by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,745, Rs 2,750 and Rs 2,755 per quintal.
