Select sugar prices up on scattered millers’ buying
Select millgate sugar prices rose by up to Rs 60 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today on mild enquiries from millers.
Marketmen said rise in prices of their products by some millers mainly pushed up select millgate sugar prices.
In the millgate section, Daurala and Budhana increased by Rs 60 each to Rs 3,410 and Rs 3,420, while Thanabhana gained Rs 50 to Rs 3,420 per quintal, respectively.
Kinnoni and Asmoli also moved up by Rs 25 and Rs 60 to Rs 3,455 and Rs 3,420 per quintal, respectively.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,530-3,670, S-30 Rs 3,520-3,670.
