Select sugar millgate prices fall on selling pressure

Select millgate prices declined by Rs 10 per at the wholesale in the national capital today due to persistent selling by mills amid negligible buying by stockists and bulk consumers.

Marketmen said selling pressure from mills and absence of necessary buying support mainly led to a fall in some of mills prices.Dhampur and Dhanora prices eased by Rs 10 each to Rs 3,280 and Rs 3,355 per quintal, respectively.Sakoti, Modinagar and Simbholi prices also went down by Rs 5 each to Rs 3,290, Rs 3,300 and Rs 3,380 per 

Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal)– Rs 35.00-38.00 per kg.ready: M-30 Rs 3,400-3,630, S-30 Rs 3,390-3,620.Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,210-3,415, S-30 Rs 3,200-3,405.
