Unchahar boiler blast: UP govt issues instructions to sugar
Taking a serious note of the boiler blast at Unchahar power plant and loss of lives, Uttar Pradesh's sugarcane department has issued instructions making ash cleaning compulsory in every shift in all the sugar mills. Strict instructions have been issued to general managers of sugar mills to ensure proper and smooth operation of boilers, Principal Secretary, sugar industry and sugarcane development, Sanjay Bhoosreddy said.

Dwarikesh Sugar Q2 profit down 18% at Rs 30 cr
Dwarikesh Sugar Industries today reported 18 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 30.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30. Its net profit stood at Rs 36.76 crore in the year-ago period.
