Sugar prices steady on small buying interest

Sugar prices today closed flat at the wholesale market here following adequate stocks and sporadic demand from bulk consumers.

Marketmen said besides ample stocks, sporadic demand from stockist and bulk consumers kept sugar prices steady.

Sugar retail markets – Rs 30.00-33.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,880-2,980, S-30 Rs 2,870-2,970.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,670-2,780, S-30 Rs 2,660-2,770.
