Sugar quota increased for BPL families, Antyoday card holders

Maharashtra government today announced increasing the quota of sugar for people living Below the Poverty Line (BPL) and those having Antyoday cards. The quota per family per month is increased from 500 grams to one kg, while the rate is also hiked from Rs 15 per kg to Rs 20, a GR issued today stated.
