Sugar prices hold firm

Sugar prices ruled steady at all level for the second consecutive day as demand-supply remained at par amid selling pressure . Arrivals at Vashi were 58- 60 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: (in ₹) S-grade 3,200-3,262 and M-grade 3,276-3,460. Naka delivery rates: (in ₹) S-grade 3,100-3,210 and M-grade 3,180-3,300.
