Small sugar edges up in lacklustre trade

Small sugar prices edged up in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today due to good demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While medium sugar ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Small sugar (S-30) prices marginal up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,622/3,710 from Monday’s closing level of Rs 3,620/3,710.

Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,720/3,882 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,622/3,710 (Rs 3,620/3,710)
